PARKERSBURG – Walmart is quickly closing its supercenter at 2900 Pike St., Parkersburg, as we speak and Tuesday for the constructing to be cleaned and sanitized.
The shop is scheduled to reopen at 7 a.m. Wednesday to offer associates time to restock cabinets.
The transfer is a part of an organization initiative to permit a 3rd celebration to completely clear and sanitize the constructing.
“Every part we’re doing is for the well-being of our associates and clients, and in consideration of steering by the Facilities for Illness Management (CDC) and well being consultants,” Rebecca Thomason, senior supervisor of company communications, stated in an emailed assertion. “When the shop reopens Wednesday, we are going to proceed conducting affiliate well being screens and temperature checks, and all associates shall be supplied with facemasks and gloves.”
