(BEDFORD) – Bedford Cops rushed to Walmart Wednesday evening after police obtained a report from a supervisor that informed police a person had a gun had a gun held on a girl in aisle 14.
The incident occurred round 5:30 p.m.
“A supervisor at Walmart overheard somebody come throughout the shop radios, that solely managers carry,” stated Chief Terry Moore.
Officers cleared the shop and it was searched whereas retailer video was reveiwed.
“After watching the video it was decided nobody was within the space on the time the message was heard and the supervisor’s working denied making the remark,” stated Chief Moore. “It seems somebody apart from an worker has Walmart’s radio frequency and made the remark.”
An all clear was given at 7 p.m. and enterprise returned to regular.
